Global Calamity

At VAI, we believe that education is the key to the solution of the problem of human illness and planetary sustainability. WE are educating children locally, nationally, and globally. Children everywhere need the truth; even if it is not popular, about what they can do to help reverse our rapid course toward environmental destruction. As a teacher, I find that children feel powerless to change the world. The programs we provide will give children the knowledge and empowerment to become a part of the solution.

Lester R. Brown, author of Plan B 2.0 was asked if he felt we could make it, given the environmental problems that our world is facing. His response was "... it depends on you and me, on what you and I do to reverse these trends. It means becoming politically active. Saving our civilization is not a spectator sport."
